This enables the team at Gentil-ker to assist people to perform daily activities and it is because of this that we find this work one of the most fulfilling and rewarding jobs you could do.

We understand that personal care is about ensuring you feel comfortable and valued. Our support workers are committed to providing the highest level of personal care with empathy, patience and adaptability.
We provide emotional, social and practical support to people who have challenging mental and health conditions. This allows Gentil-ker to assist them to perform daily activities it is because of this that I find this work one of the most fulfilling and rewarding jobs you could do.

Kim was my mum's carer for 3 years. The care given to my mum was extraordinary. Mum's needs always came first and nothing was ever a problem. I could relax knowing mum was comfortable and happy and being
cared for by someone she had 100% trust in. This was very important to me and it took away the stress and worry I had previously endured before we had Kim's care for mum. I honestly could not have gotten through the last 12 months of mum's life without Kim. If all carers gave the care Kim did with all of their clients, more of our elderly and people with special needs could stay in their homes. I cannot thank Kim enough. Honestly, there is no-one like her. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

It’s hard to adequately express the significance of Kim’s impact in the care of my parent’s and my life. Kim was there for both the best parts and the worst parts of my parent’s ageing. She was present when they both passed away in their own home, and she was a steady, reliable and central part of their circle of care. Without Kim I don’t believe I could have managed to keep my parents living in their own home.
Navigating the care of your elderly parents is challenging enough liaising with service providers, medical appointments, and negotiating with parent’s to accept more help as they age.
Kim’s depth of knowledge and experience, along with her practical and bubbly nature meant life was joyful and manageable in the last years of my parent’s lives.
She and her staff were a seamless and vital part of our lives, supporting me as a carer, as well as being trusted friends and supports to Ian and Christa.

We have been using Gentil-Ker for 5 years and it has literally transformed our lives. Kim Robson and her support workers come to our home many times a week for average shifts of 4-6 hours to work with our son, Felix, who is wheelchair-bound and non-verbal, with complex medical needs. They are incredibly competent and completely reliable. More than that, they have each formed a warm and authentic relationship with our son and this makes his time with them joyful and meaningful. They work in beautifully with our family life, showing great sensitivity and flexibility, and we also trust them absolutely to take care of Felix in our home when we are away for extended periods. Kim Robson and her team of support workers feel like part of our family, and we cannot recommend them highly enough.
